Phalaris arindinacea, Reed Canary grass, LIVE potted Plants
Perennial entheogenicgrass. Easy to grow prairie plant that likes water and sun, but tolerates all conditions, and looks like ordinary upright crab grass until it flowers and seeds. Dies down in winter to re-sprout in Spring. Usually flowers in the second year. Grows all over the USA; tolerates heat, drought, floods, shade and full sun. Very versatile plant. Looks much like lawn grass or large crab grass, but taller. A simple spiked reed with broad, wonderful seed clusters that distinguish this species. Recommended for use in range seeding, soil conservation, wildlife food and foreground cover.
One of the plants considered as an American Ayahuasca Analog. Similar to Mimosa hostilis in active content.
Live Plants in 3-in. pots. USA Grown plants.
