In Italy, they are known as Fagioli del Papa or "Pope's beans." Also known as the "Chestnut Lima" or "Calico" bean. A true Lima bean, originally from Peru (hence Lima), this gorgeous bean has all the meat of other Limas, but with a rich chestnut flavor.
