Because of the bundling, you get five packs at near wholesale pricing. To the beginning grower, it can be a bit overwhelming to choose among the many medicinal herbs. Richo up at SMS chose five basic herbs that are relatively easy to start from seeds and also have high utility in herbal medicine. Five packs, pre-bundled.
A garden with these basic plants is a boost to rural self-sufficiency. All of them are perennials except for holy basil and calendula, which are annuals. However, both of these two will self-seed readily if allowed to mature and drop seeds for next year.
All the plants in this collection are dependable growers for making the most basic herbal teas, tinctures and/or salves. You may want to add echinacea or arnica or any other medicinal favorites, which can be purchased here separately.
