Sorghum bicolor, commonly called sorghum (AKA great millet, milo, durra, or jowari) is a grass species cultivated for its sugary juice and its nutritious grain. The seeds are used for food, both for animals and humans, and for ethanol production. A versatile heirloom.
You can use the cane syrup to make 'molasses' and the grain to make pancake flour. Plants grow 8-10' tall, producing juicy, sweet stalks. Harvest at 100-120 days for grain, earlier for syrup.
