Herbaceous perennial native to the US. Wetland plant that is best grown in moist to wet soils in full sun. Tolerates some light afternoon shade. Spreads by rhizomes and runners. Thin to six inches. Blue flowers to two feet tall. Deer and rabbit resistant.
