About 5.000 years ago, corn from the Americas traveled to Asia and became much denser and higher in gluten. Now back in the Americas.
Separate Asian corn from other corns by at least 200 yards to prevent kernel cross-mixing. Grow separate from other corns. Standard corn growing protocols. Takes about 2-3 months to maturity and about 6 ft. tall.
Hard, dense kernels of Asian sweet corn must be boiled to 25-30 minutes to become edible.
