25 'Matchbox' Hot Pepper seeds, USDA Organic
An open-pollinated breed of the Super Chili variety, whose parents are the Hungarian Hot Wax and Hot Banana. The squat plants bear prolific upright fruit, averaging 2" long, 1⁄3" across and ripening from pale green to a deep scarlet. They grow well in cold damp weather, hot dry weather, sandy soils and/or heavy clay. They have the finely cut lightweight leaves of many hot peppers.
Can be potted and overwintered or brought inside to make a beautiful pepper wreath when frost comes.
