50 Amish Paste Tomato seeds, Solanum lycopersicum, USDA Organic
85 days. A long-time favorite heirloom plum sauce tomato brought to the New World by the Amish people that has been cultivated for at least three centuries in Penn. Does well in northern latitudes.
Amish Paste's slightly irregular plum shaped fruits average 8-12 oz sport a slight point at the end. Their excellent flavor and good holding power on the shelf after harvest make them a constant favorite for 300 years. These meaty tomatoes are yummy in salads and are especially well-suited for making into sauces (paste) or for old-fashioned canning in Mason jars for the winter.
Indeterminate. Organically grown seeds. JSS
