80-90 days. Asian variety used in Thai dishes. These chilies fall in the range of 50,000 to 100,000 Scoville heat units, or about 25 times the heat of a jalapeño pepper. The ornamental 8-12" plants are often filled with up to 200 small, conical 1" fruits that ripen to bright red. Complete plants are often sold in markets, and used as ornaments while the peppers are picked and consumed. Organically farmed but not certified.
