Magnificent ornamental flint corn originally from Japan. Theleaves sport green, white, yellow and pink variegated stripes, dark purple tassels, and deep burgundy kernels. Beautiful, showy and a conversation starter when planted as a border crop. Color develops better when plants are widely spaced apart. Can be ground into corn meal or leave for Halloween with peeled ears still attached. 85 days. Heirloom going back to at least the 1890s. Zea mays. Seeds grown in Iowa.
