1/4 g, ~50 Chrysanthemum daisy seeds, Tanacetum coccineum, Robinson’s Giant Painted Daisies
Tanacetum coccineum. Perennial flower that contains pyrethrins, a potent and natural insecticide. Pyrethrin is considered acceptable as a pesticide for use in USDA certified fields.
Do not cover seeds; seeds germinates in seven to 28 days. Pinch tips for bushier plants. Robinson’s Giants Painted Daisies have the classic Chrysanthemum daisy form, and bloom from May to July in hot pink, bright fuchsia, deep rose, and scathing scarlet. Robinson’s Giants are extremely easy to grow, and reach a height of three feet in just one season! In general, daisies are grown for masses of reliable blooms in late summer and autumn.
Chrysanthemums have a confusing classification system, and the Latin names have changed over time. Some sources still list Robinson’s Giants as Chrysanthemum coccineum.
