About 19-25 seeds per pod. Chromoleana odorata is a species of flowering shrub in the aster family, Asteraceae. It is native to southern Mexico and Central America. It is often sold and used the same as Calea Z teniflora.
Tropical Mexico rainforest plant; warm humidity with no frost.
Sow seeds indoors on top of a moist soil. Keep moist and humid. A humidity tent may be required, as well as supplemental light and heat. Minimum temps of 70F to 80 F are preferred, along with high humidity. Can be potted and grown indoors in a sunny room or a warm, humid bathroom with light.
