Zea mays. 120 Days. Vigorous and heat tolerant, Eureka Ensilage White Dent Corn produces three to five ears measuring 10-11 in. each, on towering stalks that grow 18-20 ft. tall. Can produce 65 tons of silage per acre. Use as roasting ears on the grill or over the campfire—or let the kernels dry and make white cornmeal or flour for breads, tortillas or chips. This heirloom variety can be sown earlier than hybrids and is particularly well adapted to the South. Open pollinated. For the best pollination, plant in blocks rather than a single long row. Plants should be spaced about 10 in. apart.
