Well over 100 seeds. Hyssop is a perennial, herbaceous plant native to Southern Europe, the Middle East, and the region surrounding the Caspian Sea.  The species as a whole is resistant to drought, and tolerant of chalky or sandy soils. It thrives in full sun and warm climates.
Hyssop is an evergreen, bushy herb, growing one to 2 feet high, with square stem, linear leaves and flowers in whorls, six- to fifteen-flowered.
Due to its properties as an antiseptic, cough reliever, and expectorant, it is commonly used as an aromatic herb and medicinal plant.
