50bean pack. The Hopi Indians have been dry-farming these beans in the Three Mesas area of Arizona for centuries. A semi-vining plant, it will produce a dried purple bean with black crescent moon-shaped stripes. They have a wonderful flavor when eaten fresh and are an excellent choice for chili and other Southwestern dishes. They can also be eaten as a dried bean. Generally self-pollinating, but can cross with other beans, so isolate.
