Heirloom variety with excellent flavor. Pack of 50.

These delicious, gold to orange cobs, also known as Eight Row Flint Corn, originated in New England and were cultivated by Northeastern Native American tribes for centuries. Its exceptionally creamy taste, and high carotenoid and protein content, made it a prized polenta corn in Italy for many years. This variety was deemed as very tasty when eaten fresh, or can be dried and ground into an orange cornmeal.

Yields long, narrow, orange-colored 8-12 inch cobs, only one per plant. There is some variation in color and plant height. Rare!
