Wild-crafted seeds, grown in Calif. Plant in Spring, full sun, moderate water. Purplish flowers that turn into green spiky pods full of black seeds. Favored by bumble bees. Annual.
These seeds, like most Nightshades, are intermittent germinators. A recent germ test showed 30% at two weeks, but 90% at two months.
Daturas contain atropine, which is both a medicine and a poison in high doses. One packet of seeds can be fatal, so not for internal use.
