The mildest variety of the New Mexico chili pepper family. Grows so well near Anaheim in Southern California that it is now referred to by that name in many local markets, and also as the California Chili Pepper in Mexican grocerystores.

Anaheim sweet chili peppers can grow to between 5”- 8” long and about 2” wide and ripen from greenish-yellow to yellowish-orange to bright red. They grow from seeds or starts and are planted when the nighttime temperature is consistently above 55° F and the daytime temperature is around 70° F. Only 500 SCU. Slightly sweet when mature.
