Flowering tobacco to three feet. The white flowers bloom in the evening and all night long, filling the air with an almost sweet, very exotic scent. Nicotiana alata.
In spring, press the seed into potting soil in and keep warm and moist until germination. Transplant to the garden after all frost is over and space plants two feet apart. Fertilize any tobacco plant with manure or compost. Full sun, moderate water.
Cure mature leaves in a shaded outhouse for two to four weeks.
